The BBC Pension Trust Ltd. has appointed Catherine Claydon to the Board of Trustees (the Board). She takes up the role of Independent Trustee, bringing the number of independent trustees on the Board to three. Catherine Claydon’s professional background includes more than 20 years’ experience in investment banking, with 15 years spent at Goldman Sachs, latterly as a Managing Director in the Pension Advisory Group. Catherine Claydon is now Chair of the BBC Pension Trust. The previous Chair Bill Matthews stepped down in December 2018 after seven years in the role. Anna Mallett, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director, Production for BBC Studios has been nominated by the BBC as their fourth BBC Trustee.
